Indian-origin tech entrepreneur Jagdeep Singh, founder and former CEO of QuantumScape, has become the highest-paid employee in the world, with an annual income of ₹17,500 crore, as reported by "The Times of India". Singh, the founder of leading electric vehicle (EV) battery company QuantumScape, earns ₹48 crore per day - an amount that is more than the annual revenue of many well-known companies.

This remarkable compensation package has made Singh the highest-paid person worldwide, outpacing the revenue of many large companies and cementing his position as a leader in innovation.

His remarkable compensation includes stock options worth about $2.3 billion.

Singh's path to success is rooted in a strong educational background and entrepreneurial vision. His LinkedIn profile shows that he holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Maryland, a master's degree from Stanford University, and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley. He began his career at major tech firms such as HP and Sun Microsystems before founding several startups, including Airsoft in 1992.

In 2010, Singh launched QuantumScape, a company focused on revolutionizing battery technology for electric vehicles (EVs).
